TUI aids Joy Hotels

TUI Travel has stepped in to support a key Turkish hotel partner which has run intofinancial difficulties.

 
 
It has set up a hotel management company to help Joy Hotels, which has 16 resorts on the Turkish Riviera and Aegean coast. Joy’s owner Akın Yılmaz denied speculation that the company is insolvent. The hotel chain, which includes brands such as Pegasos and Blue Collection, is an important supplier for First Choice and TUI Germany. “Nothing will change for customers. Operations are continuing normally,” said a TUI spokesman.
